Order of the Sinking Star Language Support and Korean
Direct answer: Korean is supported in text
Steam’s current language table lists Korean for the interface and subtitles. Korean is not marked in the full-audio column. English is the only language marked for all three columns on the current store page checked on 2026-10-14.
Every language currently shown by Steam
| Language | Interface | Full audio | Subtitles |
|---|---|---|---|
| English | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| French | Yes | No | Yes |
| Italian | Yes | No | Yes |
| German | Yes | No | Yes |
| Spanish - Spain | Yes | No | Yes |
| Japanese | Yes | No | Yes |
| Korean | Yes | No | Yes |
| Portuguese - Brazil | Yes | No | Yes |
| Russian | Yes | No | Yes |
| Simplified Chinese | Yes | No | Yes |
| Traditional Chinese | Yes | No | Yes |
The Steam page currently reports 11 supported languages. The table describes the store’s support columns; it does not claim that every line has identical translation coverage for every update, note, or future patch.
Why does it support Korean?
The public official material confirms that Korean is included in the supported-language list, while the official localization announcement explains how to select a language and says localization was still being refined during the demo period. Those pages do not give a developer or publisher statement saying why Korean was selected. A market-size, sales, or regional-demand explanation would therefore be speculation and is left out.
The reliable answer is: Korean support is a published localization choice, with interface and subtitle support listed by Steam; the public sources checked here do not document the decision’s cause. Recheck the live Steam language table after updates because storefront language flags can change.
How to switch to Korean on Steam
Use the game’s Steam Library entry, open Properties, choose the Language section, and select Korean when it appears in the dropdown. The official demo notice documented this same Steam workflow. Download any language files Steam requests, then restart or reload the game if the interface has not changed.
If Korean is present in the store table but missing in your installed build, compare the game’s update status and the language selection in Steam before treating it as a support failure. Capture the exact menu and build information when asking for help so a later patch can be distinguished from a local configuration issue.
For hardware and handheld compatibility, see the PC requirements and performance guide. For the spoiler-light cast and narrative overview, read the story and voice cast guide. Use the map and areas guide when a translated area name makes navigation unclear.
